Phuket Race Week is a week of various sailing events culminating into a four-day regatta
of International Racing standards.
The program involves a two-day sports boat racing event, a one day of dinghy racing and then
the main event, a regatta of over 4 days racing with 30 to 40 boats competing in all classes.
Each day racing begins at 10:00am and finishes no later than 3:00pm.
Early Morning Boats Getting Ready in Chalong Bay
The event entailed a week of international-standard IRC
yacht racing with four distinct classes; Sports, IRC, Club
and Multi-hull. Nineteen skippers and their crew battled it
out in the Andaman waters off the South East coast of Phuket.

Phuket Race Week is quickly becoming an internationally
recognized event, much like the Royal Varuna Yacht Club's King's

recently revitalized Andaman Sea Rally in January and the laid
back Phang Nga Bay Regatta in February, the timing of Race Week
couldn't be better. Held during the breezy month of July each low
